Countryliner Local Buses

We provide a wide range of public bus services throughout the South East...

Countryliner operates, on the whole, a modern fleet of low floor easy access buses throughout the South East, providing commercially operated and contracted bus services for six local authorities.

Countryliner operate an extensive network of services in the South East of England, ranging from Farnborough, Woking and Leatherhead in the North to Hastings, Brighton and Chichester in the South ... and from Petersfield, Liphook and Farnham in the West to Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and Battle in the East.

The Surrey Network of services covers the Guildford, Epsom and Woking areas, as well as local school services.

The Sussex Network of services covers a combination of local and rural services, including links with towns like Chichester and Midhurst into Petersfield and local town bus services in Lewes, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. We operate services linking the Princess Royal Hospital, the Royal Sussex County Hospital with Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill town centres and Brighton city centre.  We also operate the free shopping buses to ASDA at Hollingbury (Brighton) from the Sussex area.

In East Sussex, some Countryliner services that are operated on behalf of East Sussex County Council are branded as 'RIDER' services in a dark blue livery.

The Hampshire Network incorporates the Petersfield and Liphook Town Services and also operates into West Sussex towns from Petersfield through to Chichester and Midhurst.

The Kent Network of services covers mainly rural shopping links and school contracts, as well as a Sunday service in the Pembury, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells areas.
